Tech Mahindra Placement Criteria
Round 1 (Online Test)
Tech Mahindra conducts an online test that evaluates students' mental ability through various sections, including Quantitative Ability, Logical Ability, English, and Essay Writing. Details of the test are as follows:
- Logical Ability: 12 questions, 15 minutes
- Quantitative Ability: 12 questions, 15 minutes
- English: 12 questions, 15 minutes
- Essay Writing: 1 non-MCQ question, 15 minutes
Note:
- Students clearing this round proceed to the Technical Test.
- Students failing this round become eligible for a package of 3.25 LPA.
Round 2 (Technical Test + Personality Assessment)
This round, also called the Tech Test, assesses programming skills, technical knowledge, and personality traits. The key components include:
- Computer Programming Concepts: 12 questions, 15 minutes
- Computer Science Knowledge: 12 questions, 15 minutes
- Automata Fix: 2 problems, 45 minutes
- Personality Test: 72 questions, 15 minutes
Note:
- Successful candidates in this round are offered a package of 5.5 LPA.
- Those unable to qualify are eligible for the 3.25 LPA package.
Round 3 (Conversational Test)
This round is an AI-based assessment that evaluates communication skills, including pronunciation, speaking fluency, grammar accuracy, and reading skills.
- Time Allotted: 20 minutes
Round 4 (Interview)
Technical Interview: The panel assesses candidates' knowledge of their branch, core subjects, and technologies listed in their resume. It is essential to list only those skills that you genuinely understand.
HR Interview: This round evaluates personality traits, and reaching this stage almost guarantees selection.
